Holbeck is an area of Leeds that once thrived with textile industry. Like many similar areas it is a target for regeneration; the buildings are being used once again but the heritage that Leeds owes its history and wealth to is disappearing beneath designer flats and bars. The 'urban village' struggles to assert itself against widespread dereliction, and the industrial clues stubbornly remain.
